Long Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau Relaunches Award-Winning Destinations Website Featuring High-Impact Flash Animations By Louder Design
April 23, 2007

It's a proud Monday for the City of Long Beach as it debuts the highly-anticipated website relaunch of www.visitlongbeach.com, the popular destination site that exists to promote the city and provide information and assistance to meeting planners and visitors. The redesigned website treats the city's online audience to engaging Flash animation on its homepage and throughout all key landing pages, created and produced by Louder Design.
A meeting of the Board of Directors, held a few days prior in Downtown Long Beach, gave the opportunity for Louder Design to be acknowledged for their significant contribution in the new website. The extensive live demonstration of the website gave Board Members and attendees a first-look at key landing pages that presented the animated intros front-and-center. With each Flash intro running approximately ten to fifteen seconds, Louder Design has managed to bring to life their rich storyboard of beautiful skyline shots, attractions, accomodations, restaurants and all the highlights that the city has to offer.
"The Long Beach CVB called on us to produce these crucial marketing elements for their site, as they have taken notice of our creative ability to make great still imagery come alive," said Jay Baldemor, CEO and Chief Designer at Louder Design. He adds, "I'm very honored and proud of the trust and confidence that Steve (Goodling, President & CEO of the Long Beach CVB) has given us to deliver on his vision. From the beginning it was apparent that we were going to have to push the envelope on existing technology to give Steve and his team what they were looking for, and I believe it's suffice to say that we truly 'wowed' them with the results. It was really a perfect match - Steve is known to have a distinct creative feel that he looks for, and our ideas pushed boundaries to create a uniqueness will be sure to set new benchmarks for destination sites."
"I anticipate a long partnership with the Long Beach CVB," Jay said. "They love innovation and are always looking to maintain their lead in this space - It's an exciting opportunity for everyone involved."
